Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Raphael Bento Lunch

Standard

I have done a few more simple but cute lunches lately but it seems there aren’t enough hours in the day sometimes.

This morning I made my daughter a veggie burger and drew on Rapheal her favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle for lunch. I added pickles and strawberries and drew pizzas on two vegetarian marshmallows as a treat.

LILO and Stitch veggie burger Bento Lunch

Standard

Theme for tomorrow is LILO and Stitch. Once again just wanted to do a simple lunch.

We have a Veggie Burger with cheese, pickles and cowgirl ranch dressing on a ciabatta bun and I drew LILO and Stitch on the top with edible food color markers. Next there are carrots with raisins, pickles and sliced apples.

Simple Princess and the Frog Bento Lunch

Standard

It has been a super busy weekend and I’m ready to sleep. I tried to do something simple but fun for tomorrow’s lunch for my daughter. The theme is The Princess and the frog.

Grilled cheese in the shape of Tiana’s dress, two frog shaped cucumbers, a forest of broccoli, some grape “rocks”, and a marshmallow with the cute lightning bug friend(it’s too late to remember his name and I’m too tired to even google.)

Princess Marshmallow Pops (vegetarian)

Standard

I’m gearing up for my daughter’s bday party on Sunday and so have made a sweet treat for the guests.

Princess Marshmallow Pops

Dandies marshmallows (which are vegetarian no gelatin, and vegan)

Melting chocolate of your choice

Sprinkles or toppings

Small lollipop sticks

Small clear bags and ties

Melt the chocolate and dip each marshmallow and then top with sprinkles. Let them harden and push in stick and wrap with bag and tie.

I used a plastic container as the holder, I filled it with dry dal and the cut small x’s in the top.

I think the kids will love them.
